Default Help car idling issue after battery change

So I have an 04 z. Yesterday my car wouldn't start so I jumped it drove it around a little bit came back home tried to start again 5 minutes later but battery was dead again. I deceided to go buy a battery. I bought the car in 2012 and have not changed it at all so I figured its time. Successfully installed and she fired right up

Today when I got in to go to work the car started but the idle drop too low and the car immediately stalled. Tried it again and the same thing happened. It seems I have to tap the gas a little bit right after its starts so the engine doesn't stall. The rpm would sit at 500 after that.

Did I mess something up when I placed the new battery in?

and triple check terminals ... get a round wire brush and clean inside them. you may be having the issue from a voltage change, but don't hold me to that
