2006 350Z Raodster Convertible Issue
I purchased a 2006 350Z Roadster last week from a dealer in Georgia. When it arrived in Pennsylvania the convertible didn't work. I know that it worked prior to transport because I saw pics of it with the top down. There is no power at all. I talked to a Nissan Tech and then on his advice checked the 3 fuses in the interior fuse box...they are all good. then checked to make sure there's power to the fusebox and all fuses. Again all good. There's no sound and nothing happens at all when pressing the open button. The Tech also had me disconnect the negative cable from the battery and let sit for 15 minutes to reset the car, I'm assuming the ECU. That did nothing also. Any idea what the problem is? Could it be as simple as the open/close switch being bad?

Ok this may sound like a dumb idea, and you may already know this, but are you pressing the "brake pedal"? You must press the "brake pedal to open or close the top. I personally forgot about it in the following days. Not trying to insult your intelligence.

Not insulted, I found that out the day after I posted! The top works fine. I just bought the car a week ago and it didn't have the owners manual. I ordered one and it'll be here Saturday. Thanks for answering me.
