IIRC...... on the passenger side of the tranny somewhere ahead of the shifter bracket.

You get a code or something indicates it's bad?

I still fail to understand the need for a neutral safety switch on a manual transmission car that includes a clutch lockout switch...???

Must be for an AT5 car. There's no switch on the MT6 - I can start mine in any gear, just as long as the clutch is disengaged.

And this is why I is cornfussed......I can start mine anywhere too s'long as pedal closes the circuit on the clutch interlock....

Is the park neutral switch different from a neutral assembly switch? Reminds me of own thread from years ago: https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-n...xing-my-z.html

My cruise control and reverse lights were not working at the time - car is MT6
