Default Are '04s affected with the crankshaft position sensor recall?

My friend that has a '03 Maxima has told me that 03 and under 350Zs along with his and altima 3.5s have a crankshaft position sensor recall.

Any info on this?

Try the search.

Only VQ Nissans built before July 02 are affected. This is not all 03's but only the very first of the preorders. Not many at all.

A previous post said only #1-167 2003 350Zs are affected. I have no idea about Altimas.

Its the Vehicle Identification Number(VIN#) on the inside of the driver door jamb, if I remember correctly. Its also on your sales and/or loan papers if you have them handy. I pre-ordered my car before the first production car rolled off the line at Oppama, Japan, my VIN is JN.....001434.
