Steering hard to turn?
Hello everyone, im new here, i bought a 350z 2004, everything on it seems to be working pretty good, but last week, the steering started to be hard to turn, i would like to know if any of you ever had this problem and what could be the cause?
My powersteering pump doesnt do any bad sound and im full in oil.
What else could it be?

Lots of variables. Since it's a new car are you just wondering if it's a problem? Or did it randomly crap out on you? Compression bushings can go out making it harder to turn, uneven wear on tires, oversize tires. Plus the Z has a stiffer steeling wheel to begin with.
Well, when i got the car, i felt right away that the steering was stiffer than my other cars but it started to be even harder to turn out of nowhere, anyone have a diagram or picture of what i should check?

Just an fyi. At slow speeds the G/Z is stiffer than probably most all other cars I've driven. It has a vehicle speed assisted technology on it. My mom drove the car one time and said something was wrong with the steering that it was to tight. She drives a Mercury Grand Marquis, it's the nature of the beast. After about a few weeks of driving it's now my favorite car I've driven to date as far as steering goes. My guess is this is the situation you are feeling. Many other cars are made in a non sport way. The steering on those cars is easy, loose, less responsive, made for the soccer mom's, the 16 year old girl, the older retired guy. That's what manufacturers lean towards how to make cars. The Z is a designed sports car with spirited driving in mind.
