Default Driver door ajar light won't shut off.

Not sure what's going on.
door open, I push the button in and the window goes up and the time light goes out but the door ajar light stays on the dash. I assume the button/switch works fine because the window and dome light works properly. Any clue?

A bi-directional scan tool will allow you to test the door switch signal in a few minutes. Lacking a scan tool that's capable of sending commands, check the resistance on both switches and compare the readings; you may be having issues with a small voltage leak from one of the switches. If the light's not switching off, it could also indicate a faulty BCM or gauge cluster, but you'll need the right tools/knowledge to test that. Check the FSM to see if they have a troubleshooting list for that issue (I kind of doubt they will, but you never know.)

EDIT:
As an afterthought, how does the switch cover look? Is it possible you got some water incursion into the switch? Regardless, I'd pull the switches and run tests on them to see if they're still functional before going further down the circuit.
