Default 2 center gauges not working

Ok so replaced head unit, everything worked fantastic. Was driving the next day and all of a sudden low oil light came on ( oil is still fine .I just replaced the oil pressure unit the other day) and the multi purpose gauge and the oil pressure gauge cut off .both stillight up and the battery voltage gauge works. Just not those two .Everything else is fine? I tried letting the battery sit disconnected overnight ( I had tried it for like 4o minutes, and it got rid of the oil light but didn't fix the issue) and the oil light came back on, and the gauges still light up but don't work. Any suggestions?

A ribbon cable inside the "waterfall" has come loose. Remove the forward console (as you did when you replaced the H/U) and refasten the ribbon wires.

This. You might try spritzing some deoxIT in the connectors in case you're getting a bad electrical connection.
