Wouldn’t it start throwing a code for both of them if they didn’t work for this vehicle?

I also had this problem when I installed my stereo and left the battery unplugged for a couple of days. I also got the same code and replaced the sensors which seemed to only help slightly. It was not until I had my car in a shop that specialized VQ's that they were able to perform a proper idle relearn and now my car starts up every time on a single crank. I'm running Autozone Cam Position Sensors.

It maybe worth trying to do a proper idle relearn on your car, even though when I tried I couldn't get it to fix the problem.....
