Squeaking/grinding noise...help!
I've had this noise coming from my rear end(?) for about three weeks now, it started out as a slight squeak with each revolution and is now a very loud squeak and almost like a grinding when I am coming to a stop. There also seems to be a sort of pop when I first get the car moving in gear (first, second, and reverse) that I do not know if it is related. At first I thought it may be a brake problem as the sound started shortly after I got my brakes done, however I noticed in the video below that the squeaking sometimes goes away when I press the clutch in (you can hear when this is done and the last example in the video I do a cringy countdown for it). As if the noise wasn't enough, I also hit a deer and destroyed my front bumper, fender, and put a giant dent in my door. I have had a hell of a month and would love some help diagnosing this problem before taking it to any shops. Thanks a lot!

Does lightly pulling the ebrake while you're moving make any difference? Those drum mechanisms are prone to sticking, and it that would explain why it feels 'stuck' when you get going.
