Default Overheating DE

I had my engine rebuilt about 6 months ago now because of rodknock and never had any cooling problems but since i put the new rebuilt engine in about 1600 miles ago one hose clamp on the firewall decided it was done trying and started leaking everywhere and now about 500 miles later it just wants to overheat the whole time, we replaced the thermostat when the engine was out and just replaced the radiator cap when i noticed it was getting hot. any help would be appreciated.

The first thing to rule out is any air left in the system, which can happen when the hose clamp let go. I use the Lisle funnel and it's effective in burping the radiator system.
