Exclamation *Overheating*

2006 350z
car has brand new Mishimoto Radiator, Thermostat, and Fan Assembly. The car runs perfect its overheating during the day when its hot outside (Texas). I can drive it all night long, sit still all night long, and i ll have 0 issues. When its hot outside, during daytime, the car overheats. Any ideas?

Edit#1: when the car does overheat, i turn on The Hot air at full blast and it brings the needle down pretty quick.

I agree with travlee. You probably have air in the cooling line. I would start there before you consider replacing the radiator.

Burping the z is a complete pain. Elevate the front end on jack stands, crank the defroster, and burp the system. The radiator is fine, but why'd you install the Mishimoto thermostat and fan? I would reinstall the stock fans and see if that resolves the issue as well. I had considered buying those fans, but Z1 advised the stock fans are much better.

Honestly just go buy a radiator overflow funnel, it will sit the funnel connected to the radiator at the highest point in the engine. The VQ motor in the 350z is hard to get all the air out of because there are legit coolant lines in the throttle body that sit 4 inches higher than the top of the radiator. It will always have air if not down properly

It's very important to protect the car from ultraviolet yet. Especially now that the heat is only getting worse. There are many ways to protect the same car surface from the sun's rays. But not all of them are effective. I only recently learned that the surface should be covered with aerosol paint. But this case is not easy, of course, and should refer to professional articles and opinions on the subject, because the selection of aerosols is very responsible. I'll tell you what I found out about Best Spray Paint for UV Protection https://systemofyoursafety.com/the-b...uv-protection/ . Fortunately, I was lucky to find it somehow, I hope that it will be just as useful for you. I bought myself a COLORSHOT Sealer Spray Paint, Clear Matte, as it is versatile enough and fits almost any surface, it's better to take one of these. But you can have your own opinion about it, take a look for yourself and make a decision.
