350z Long crank time, Slip and VDC light comes on SOMETIMES
*First post please dont hate me if i posted in the wrong thread or whatever*
So i recently bought a 2003 350z Touring with 80k miles and i noticed driving it home the Slip and VDC light came on (I didnt think much of it one of my cars i had before did the same thing and had no problems) Well after i got home, parked it for about 30 minutes , came outside and started it, It cranked for about 2-3 seconds and then fired right up 0 problems but i noticed the Slip and VDC lights were on, I didnt think alot of that either so i just carried on with my day, well this morning i got up to drive it to work and it started up perfectly normal, no 2-3 second crank time. On the way to work the Slip and VDC light came BACK on and when i got to work i shut it off, started it back up and sure enough, it took 2-3 seconds to crank but fired straight up after that
Ive seen alot of articles about the crankshaft position sensor being a very common problem, im going to go to an auto parts store today and see if they can pull any codes but i was just looking for some insight, im not too worried after all,
Thanks for reading and any comments are helpful.
