Question VDC and Slip light comes on after Burnout

So on occasion I happen to see an empty parking lot after it rains...Looks like fun. I spin around a few times with VDC off. After even the first 360 I do the Slip Light gets stuck on and just stays lit up. I turn off the Z turn it back on and the lights are off, everything is fine. Any ideas why this happens?

Because that was the way it is designed to work. If you totally upset the system, it's going to go into failsafe mode. Stop it.

This happened to me about 3 weeks ago after I, too, had fun in a rainy parking lot. Scared me at first, then I just restarted the car, and everything was back to normal.

Yesterday I just spent about $700 on new tires though, so I won't be burning up rubber like that much more in the future!

Hey thats why you stay in the rain. It doesnt burn up half the tires.

yeah i went to an empty parking lot today after it rained. i had the same issue with my slip light staying on also....but that problem was overshadowed by the cop that showed up and pulled me over.... luckly no ticket. b/c rekless driving is never a good ticket to get!
