Default Help!!!

A few weeks back my last Z got totalled and I got a new one. A manual 2005 350z track edition. Engine had been replaced for a new one cuz the last engine blew. Car drove fine the first night, all through the rest drive, and all the way home. I got home and (be rude all you want idc, I’m so tired of this dang problem I just need help) rooms the muffler pipe off to make it a tad bit louder. The next day it started overheating and coolant came out of the overflow from the reservoir. So I decided to replace literally everything in the coolant system. New mishimoto radiator, new thermostat, new water pump, the whole system. I bled the coolant lines like everyone told me to, and the cars still overheating. It has all the fluids it needs. I didn’t realize till last night that the car worked fine with the exhaust on, then once I took it off it had these problems. I put the exhaust back on this morning and tested it and it’s still overheating. It doesn’t have white smoke from the exhaust, it doesn’t leak water from the exhaust. My mechanic did 2 tests to see if the head gasket was blown and they both came back negative. But it’s still overheating. Can anyone help please!

Removing the muffler has nothing to do with the cooling system. What did your "mechanic" diagnose as the cause of the overheating problem?

I disagree ...

Your best bet is to reinstall the muffler and keep the car quiet as to not worsen the reputation of the car.

Then, and only then, continue to re-bleed the coolant system. You have air bubbles behind your thermostat...

I was going thru an intersection and the other side of the road had a left turn yield on green... needless to say she didn’t follow instructions and turned right in front of me

I agree with the diagnosis, but not with the exhaust part lmao l, everyone has their wants. But yes, you basically gotta bleed the line like a clutch or break line(not literally) but air in the line couldn’t cause complications, but if you have the mechanical inclination to replace your entire coolant system I’m sure you managed to break it in right.
