Unhappy Overheating Problems

So about a week ago I changed my thermostat, oil pressure sensor and did an oil change. After that I took the car out for a drive and it started to overheat.
I didn't bleed the car immediately after but I did the next day. I spent an hour one morning doing so car was still overheating so tried again the next morning same thing. while bleeding the car my coolant reservoir overflows and it starts to leak on the passenger side of the car. I've tried everything elevating the front end and squeezing the upper radiator hose but still nothing. Any help would be much appreciated

Bleeding the Z's cooling system can be extremely frustrating. Be sure you are doing it 100% as the FSM instructs. The procedures can be found in the "Engine Cooling" section beginning on CO-11. I may take you multiple rounds of bleeding to get it right. Additionally, I would recommend using a spill-free funnel if you are not already. The coolant should flow back in to it while it's doing it's thing and cause less of a mess / headache.

The other issue I've had problems with is the radiator cap. It's a wear component that should be replaced periodically, but none of us do that as we suspect it can't be that easy.
