Ok so i got an 03 the cooling fan relays keep on going out on me. I have already replaced all 3 once and one of those i had to replace again. It just overheated on me once more and whenever i done the ipdm test the cooling fans didnt kick on. Any idea as to what could cause the relays to go out constantly like this?

bad fan motors can cause this. As the motors wear they draw much more power which can exceed the relays.

Is there a good way to test for excessive power draw?

I can almost guarantee it is bad fans. I had the same symptoms and problems and replaced the fans and have not had an issue since. You can measure the amp draw of the fans if you can get them to turn on with a DC amp clamp , but if they are drawing too much you only have about 15 seconds on a fuse before it blows and the fuses are special order.

I'm meeting up with a friend soon with an amp clamp I'll stay updated. How many amps are the motors supposed to draw?

Oh holy rise from the dead. I replaced my fan motors whenever I swapped the engine and the problem went away for a while but it has came back again. Does anyone know how much current the fans are supposed to draw? It doesn't blow any fuse just fries the relays.
