Default Overheating in my 2003

I got a Z last Saturday
today was the first time I actually drove it to work after like 15 mins of driving there my car started to overheat I pulled off and turned off the car and after 5 mins turned back on at operating temp and went my way after another 2 minutes it was already hot again

during my Lunch break I went outside and checked coolant it was full but I added some also I tried to bleed it and it wasn’t bleeding and heat wasn’t really hot and texted the guy that owned it before me and he said he filled it up before he sold it to me

I’ll told my dad and he said it might be the thermostat and he told me when it gets hot try the heat and see if it blows hot
well I did and when it got near overheating I turned on the heat it kept trying to decide if it wanted to be hot or cold and then the temps went down a little but then back up

I am home now and I was going to try and bleed the air out but I was looking for the bleeder Value and I don’t see one apparently it looks like someone did a bleeder value delete and just stuck a hose and clamps there

what do you guys think my problem with my car overheating is
also it’s a 2003 and a manual

It's most likely the thermostat.

Might also want to check the radiator cap, which tends to go bad periodically. Try using a Lisle funnel to properly bleed ALL the air out of your radiator.

Well I ended up changing the thermostat still the same problem and the radiator cap is an aftermarket mishimoto one that says the pressure the old owner put on but I ordered the bleeder valve off of Z1motorsports to see if it would fix the issue after I bleed it properly and kd that is not the case than it might be the water pump but it is not making any noise to make it seem bad

yea we have narrowed it down to a water pump or the system has not been bled properly because where there is supposed to be a bleeder valve someone removed it and just stuck a rubber hose there so hopefully that’s it and if it’s not than it should be the water pump bc I have just replaced the thermostat
