So I recently swapped out a blown motor out for another VQ35DE of a 350z I bought recently. After connecting everything how it should I go to start it up for the first time only to find out that the security light is on and the motor will crank but not start the fuel pump will not prime. I thought that maybe the chip in the key had gone bad but I reached out to a locksmith only to find out the chip was fine in the key. He read the codes on file only to see the code U1000 for the bcm, I know this can be anything from the IPDM to a fuse but I have checked over all of the connections and fuses inside the IPDM and everything seems fine. However when I looked under the drivers side where the BCM sits I see that one of the wires on the harness that goes to the BCM is cut off the wire that is cut off is pink so I'm suspecting that the pink wire could be the cause of this but I am still unsure.
