What the hell is going on with my Z!
Hey there fellow Z lovers!
So I’ve neglected my hard starts and now I’m paying for it.
Here is what has transpired.
For a number of weeks I’ve had to hit the gas pedal after starting it to get it to keep from dying out.
A few days ago, I drove my car to near empty, went to fill it up, but the gauge didn’t work, it stayed below E.
This morning I went to start it, and it refused to start. Based on what I was reading and the AAA guy. I figured I’d replace the fuel pump.
I just got done replacing the fuel pump with the Delphi pump, looked exactly like the OEM. Smooth and easy install.
Went to start it, same symptoms, but I could hear the pump on for 2-3 seconds.
Any ideas on what might be going on here?
