So my 2005 350 has a dead battery and I can’t figure out anyway to get into the car. For some reason just turning the key manually doesn’t work. This has always been a finicky problem with the car though. I’ve tried spraying w-d40 into the key hole but still nothing. Please help, I’d rather not have to spend the money on a locksmith.

 

If you are handy and want to try getting under the car, you can connect a piece of wire, or jumper cable to the starter or alternator positive lead, (make sure it’s only touching the positive lead and not the case or any other ground) and another to a good ground, then connect them to a booster battery, vehicle, or battery charger. Your key fob should work then.

 

AAA can open it, membership is under $100 and worth it.
