Question 350z HR fuel feed hose (Substituting a 370Z replacement part on 350Z HR)

Hello All! I have a 2008 Nissan 350z GT Roadster. The fuel damper on the fuel feed hose is leaking. The part number is 22675-EV10A and cost about $300. The 370z part number 22675-JK20B and under $100. All the surrounding parts, including the FPDs on the fuel rails, use the same part number so I don't see any reason why these parts aren't interchangeable. You can see the fuel feed hose with damper, item 22675m, on the diagrams below. The first diagram is for the 350z and the second is for the 370z.

Has anybody tried to use the 370z fuel feed hose and damper on a 350z? If so what were the results?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

Personally, I'd be wary of swapping to the Z34 part as the damping rate *might* (no clue if this is actually the case) be different for the VQ37VHR. Would seem logical that there's a reason for a new part/part no.

Not sure if this helps but might help to expand your search.... the Nissan PN 22675-EV10A assembly has been supplanted by PN 22675-EV10B. Nissan (and every other mfgr) "updates" their parts catalogs; kinda like software companies offer slight version upgrades like from v4.0.1.3.7 to v4.0.1.3.8 (hardly an "upgrade"; rather, a hot fix for a known fault).

Good luck! Let us know if you decide to try it and what the results are, would be good reference material.

I thought the same thing, but this particular part is hard to compare BC its not as readily available. The fuel damper on the fuel rails however are available everywhere and it looks like several of the big box stores sale the same fuel rail damper for both models. I'm going to buy it. Ill report back the reults.

If it doesnt work what symptoms should I look for, fluctuating idle, stalling on first start, poor throttle response?

Right now I cant run my defroster bc it pulls "fresh" air from outside and fills my car with gas fumes.

Default works great!

Hey guys.

Part inspection: So the 370z hose has a slightly different shape and is less than an inch longer (see pics below).

Fitment: Hose fits in the original btackets, but has a spot that rubs on the inside of the fender so im going to put some plastic wire guard stuff on it so its not wearing a hole in the hose.

Performance: car runs great. Starts right up, but the rpms still drop way down right after initial start, but no longer stalls. Idle is super smooth, idles around 700/750rpm. Smooth take off under both normal and hard driving conditions, and lastly no more gas fumes.

I'll reply again in a couple weeks to provide an update.
