2004 350z - White smoke out of exhaust after Knock Sensor Replacement
Hey guys, I have an 04 350Z with 99K miles. Removed all plenums and fuel rails to gain access to the knock sensor. Car had been sitting in the garage since Tuesday since I had to wait for the part to arrive (today is Sunday for those of you in the future)
While changing the knock sensor, I noticed a lot of oil leakage around the valve covers, and I was pretty low on oil. Decided next paycheck I'm going to change those out. Today I did a full oil change, started it up and noticed a whole bunch of white smoke coming out of the back of the car. It is raining today but it seems like a lot for just condensation.
I'm worried it could be coolant in the engine but I'm not overheating. I've never changed the coolant since I bought the car almost a year ago and it's still very high. It's just hard to believe all that smoke could be from condensation.
Please let me know what you think!
