Default Q about arbitration & buyback!!

1) after the decision is made in arbitration for nissan to buy back a car, how many days does the person have before having to send the car back?

2) how many people have successfully won in arbitration for tire feathering and how many have lost?

thanks

Nissan has 30 days to complete the buy-back from the date that you agree to the award. Trust me, they will take most of those 30 days!

I have won.

I went through Arbitration with the BBB. The process takes a long time but I feel that it is the way to go.

Once NNA and I agreed on terms, it only took a week for them to have the checks cut and arrange a time for me to deliver the car to the dealership.

I started with BBB Autoline, but once NNA was informed by the BBB we settled everything on our own.

did you buy another Z. Have you heard are the '04s any better.
Sorry to hear about your problems. My first sports car was a used Z, that was a huge lemon. Now I am returning but the stories are scary.

I didn't get another z. Not because I think they all have issues, but because I was ready for something a little different.

The only major issue that i have noticed recently being reported by 04 owners is the tire feathering. But I think we will find that those are cars made prior to the switch to the Euro-spec components. I don't think the post switch cars have enough miles yet to tell us anything there.

So, I would say that 90% of the issues have been fixed, at least from what I have read here over the last several months.

I wouldn't let the stories here scare you away from buying an 04. Keep in mind, my vin was 002533, which was an August 02 build...fairly early build. Just be sure that it is as new as possible.
