Default Where to Lift?

Taking my 350Z to a friends garage to replace rear wheel bearings and axles along with some bushings and other goodies.
He has a two post lift with the four arms to place under the car. So at what points do I place these pads when lifting the car? Don't want to interfere with the work to be done.
Thanks!

Pretty standard placement on the pinch rails.

Check stability/balance with tires 6-8" off ground. Also good to use adapters for the pinch rails else risk damage but not entirely necessary if using proper lift pads.
