BACKGROUND INFO:
I'm trying to fix up my 2007 350z roadster touring. My dad gave it to me and its been sitting for 2 years while I was in college. It has a leak in the soft top and is moldy inside. It started like 2 months back when we needed to move it while having the house painted. But now all i get is crank no start.
WHAT IVE DONE:
Using my OBD reader I got only one code P0118, which is for the ECT sensor, checked the engine bay for the sensor to use a multi-meter and test it when I see that the wires for the plug to the sensor are missing an inch. Turns out some rats took it out. I replaced the plug and re wired it up and now the only error code on the OBD reader is cleared. Plus I got a new battery.
SYMPTOMS:
Now the power locks, key fob transmission, hazards, and blinkers dont work.
its seems like the BCM to me all these issues arise from this but I cannot tell if its a wire issue related to the rats, or if the moisture got to the BCM and water logged it.
Let me know what yall think and give me some ideas to further diagnose. Missing wire from rats ***Now fixed***
