I just bought a 2004 enthu auto tranny. It has 200 miles on it. Every 2 out of 3 times I try and turn the car on, I turn the key for 2 seconds and the motor doesnt turn over. Only when I hold the key and the starter keeps going after 3 or 4 seconds does the motor come on. I also have a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon, when I turn the key on this car for 1 second its on and running no problem. Also my rpms at idle and at operating temp is 900rpm, with a oil pressure of 40psi (eyeballing it)

So first off the starting problem maybe attributed to it being so new. yes? no?

The 900 rpm and 40psi of oil pressure does this sound normal?

 

mine turns on right away. When my car is warmed up it idles at 500~ rpm

not sure on the oil pressure atm tho.
