Seems like when I take long road trips and or I'm doing hard driving, my gearbox/tranny area seem to get a little louder over the duration of the day. what do you guys suggest. Switching out to a different tranny fluid???

 

bump. I think its the clutch but not sure. Come on someone. No one else's tranny gets a little louder or produces more whine the longer your drive it? (in the same day)

 

Mine does the same thing. .

The noise is especially bad with the bearing noise, (clutch in no noise, clutch out, sounds like crap)

 

i have the same symptoms. i just had an nissan inspector look at my car and he said this is normal for all Z's. i'm sure they would have fixed it if it could be, because among the things i had fixed at the inspection were:4 new tires, 4th new tranny with new shifter and pedal assembly, new front and rear bumper (orange peel)(i refused a repainted one), and the list goes on and on.
