Default air pressure release sound from the back

Does anyone have this problem, when the car is idle, turn off your music, you will hear a pshhh.... sound like "air pressure release" from your trunk ...some ppl said it's a bad fuel pump.
I made appointment with dealer couple times but was so busy, could not make it. If anyone have the same problem, please share.... Thanks !

that's the sound the fuel pump is supposed to make... it's pumping fuel... I'd worry more if it STOPS making that sound...

I got something similar for a couple of days. I figured it was an exhaust leak. I was at the dealer for other reasons and asked them to look into it. They found nothing wrong... I think that it was no longer doing it. This was 3 weeks ago.

I'll check tonight if the hissing sound is still there as I have not paid attention to it lately.

When in the driver seat and enginer is idling you can hear it. Also if you stick your head near the muffler you can hear the same thing. It coincided with the installation of my JWT Pop Charger, but I don't think that was the cause.

Keep me posted on what you find

Martin
