Default shifter vibration and shuttering

the car once in awhile decides to shake and vibrates and if can be felt in the shifter **** itself. the first time i noticed this was driving back from nissan after they were atempting to fix the feathering problem in my tires that are they won't have in for 2 weeks. Im just wondering if others have had this problem, if it got worse, and what nissan did about it. I have an O3 with 8100 hundred miles. 6mt.

If you've seen the videos or what other people say, Nissan said they could have put something to stop the rattle, but they decided to keep it. This is because the gear shifter would have an entirely different feel. But who cares about that?

I'd rather have the vibration gone anyways.

vibration of the shifter on manuals are not isolated to the Z. This is my 2nd nissan. My first one was a manual pathfinder and the shifter shakes the minute i drove it off the dealers lot back in 1999. The same for the Z. It is just a design "flaw" if you want to call it, but that has manual gear box works fine.

I think we all have it, and like someone else said, I think Nissan chose to leave the hard connection in the linkage, which transfers the vibration throught the shifter.

I remember reading other people's stuff and they said it got better with time. I think it must be true, cause I don't notice it anymore at 6000 miles.
