lol. Uhh...whats up doc? It does look like bugs. Maybe they can put a black line vertically down the middle of the plate. Great idea about mounting the plate though, looks better than the stock position.

I was thinking, just put no plate on the other side, then there would be no plate when you flip it over. It would be cool if someone could fabricate something like this.
Yeah, that was pretty sweet how the plates changed. That 7-series should could move.

Default How Long ?

I curious to see how long we can go without getting stopped for no plate. Going on 3 months without a sniff.

I wonder what the drill is is you do get stopped. I'm in Oregon.

Keep on Z'n Still Jumpin' for Joy!!

but when it's visible to the cops while driving I want the plate showing (they probably won't ticket a parked car for no plate!)
I've gotten a parking ticket in DC for not having plate...

noticed you have a Vietnam Vet plate; but you're only 29. it does not compute. btw, we got out of Vietnam in '73.

Hi ZBart I have owned "Z's" for 29 years. I'm 54 years old and served 2 tours in Vietnam between 1968-71. I was a morse intercept operator and later did ARDF.. Airborne radio Direction Finding.. That's what the plate "ARDF" stands for. I spent 1 tour in Pleiku and split another between DaNang and Hue-Phu Bai. I've been back to Vietnam 3 times in the past 5 years.. Planning another trip for 2003..

Default Driving without front plate in CA

I've had my 350Z since September 2nd. I received my "first" speeding ticket from the CHP two weeks ago...not a word about the plate. A bit cranky about my passing speed 83 in a 50 mph, he should have seen me coming out of Lambs Canyon five minutes earlier...the car loves to triple digit. Be safe out there... CA lic "Warp 10."

I should have said "about the missing front plate."

In CA it's just a "fix it" ticket. So tie wrap that plate to your grill until the good officer signs off on the tkt. i keep the front bare - better aerodynamics and all that. did it with my Rx7 for a decade w/o any problems. I'm more concerned about speeding tickets, but i guess that's why i got a Z.
