Can anyone recommend good OBD II software to perform diagnostics on our cars? I am looking at Digimoto software website and it looks interesting, but I would like to know if anyone else has used it, or is there better software. Also, I'm assuming that our cars use the ISO format. I tried a search in this forum to see if this issue was addressed previously, but it didn't identify anything.

 

The system that I currently use on my SS Track is Autoenginuity OBD II Scanner system..... It works great.

 

Where is the OBD port on the Z?

also, is Autoenginuity OBD II Scanner model specific? or can it be used on all cars made after the mid 90's (w/ OBD II)?

 

I have the Digimoto software that I run on my In-car PC. It works very nicely. If you've been to their web site, I don't need to tell you all that it can do. Do you have any specific questions on it?

The OBD port is just in front of where your left leg would be if you are driving the car (in the USA that is). It is under the dash but you can see it if you peek down there.

 

What I meant to ask was, "do all OBD II scanners work on all late model cars?" My wife has a 04 Lexus and I want to get a OBD II Scanner that can work on my Z and her car.
