Default JWT Pop Charger Cleaning Advice

Okay, so I cleaned the Pop charger and am awaiting it to dry before I decide to put a light coat of orange or blue, Haven't decided which color to go with.

Anyway, my question is this, When I re-oil it, how long do I let it sit before re-installing it, or for that matter, driving the car? How should I apply the oil? I know not to have it dripping with oil. Just curious how much oil to apply?

Thanks for any advice.

What do yall think for the color, blue or orange filter? I have a PPW.

from performance nissan website...

Rinse the filter from the Inside-Out (have water flow out of the filter in the oposite direction in which the air travels into the filter). Rinse until the water runs clear. Let the filter element dry for 30-40 Minutes (sitting over crumpled up newspaper helps speed the drying process). Once the filter is dry, apply oil to the out side of the filter (do NOT over oil). Let the filter dry for another 45 minutes. If any white spots appear apply another spray of oil and let dry. Once the filter is dry and no oil is dripping, re-install the filter and tighten the clamp.
I haven't cleaned it yet, but I would let it sit overnight. should be good the next morning. just double check for any drips or whatnot. I would go with blue also

If feasable:

-Clean
-Re-oil
-Let sit

Then:
-Get a hairdryer on COOL setting, and blow any excess away from the filter, from the inside of the filter out. NOT from the outside-in.

This is what I plan on doing once I decide to clean mine.

When do you guys typically clean em?
