My dealer agreed to replace the DRIVER'S side seat cover because I had the TSB with me when I reported it. They sort of acted like they never heard of it (yeah, right). The only problem I have is that they are only doing one side. The TSB doesn't say to replace both sides as far as I can tell.

From your experience, are the dealers replacing just the side that frays or both at the same time? Seems logical that if the material is bad it's just a matter of time. What do you think?

 

yea my driver side is wearing and they said they will replace it. But my passenger side is starting too. they said they will replace the passenger side when it gets bad enough. they both wear at the same rate its just the driver side gets more wear.

 

I think I'll tip the service guy to get both and save a trip. We'll see.

 

they told me that it's not covered under warranty.. what year of vehicle is the TSB for? cause i have an 04 and they told me that it's normal wear and tear. can you tell me where can i get a copy of the TSB?

 

I'm curious as to where to get copies of TSB's as well so I know what else to look for, I just noticed wearing on my drivers seat yesterday.
