To some degree, that may be true. However, one could pose the same question to the many who choose to pull their front bumpers in order to swap the OEM reflectors for clear ones. OR - those who undertake the laborious task of creating home made sub enclosures to install behind the driver's seat - OR adding some expensive engine MODs for a gain of just 2 or 3 more horse power. ............etc., etc.

It's basically - to each his/her own, so to speak.

Or the hard work you put in at you regular JOB to buy anyother mod. The work you do seperates your car from the others.

its an easy mod to do if you have the door off like when putting speakers in. Im sure there is a 12V constant somewhere in the door.
