I haven't posted up here for a while...the Z is finished now and I must move on to other projects. She's finally tuned and running well after many setbacks and delays.
This is as good a place as any to thank all the members here for thier support during the 19 months it took to complete the car. So Thank You all for your kind words and insight.
I'll post up a few pics of the audio install in the appropriate forum this evening.
Here is a teaser just for fun.
Reggie...I never did install a radar detector, but the V1 with the display in the mirror is still on my mind

I like the OE rear bumper cover better than most kits I've seen....Initial D is close...Vertex is another one I like, but it is such a pain matching SS paint, and my Z has been in the shop soooo long since I've owned the car, that I'm not in any rush to change anything else right now.

M3powerrr installed a grill in the bumper to protect the intercooler in Feb. '04.
Around Aug. '04 I decided to add a lip and side skirts, but did not like the "lines" that we too apparent for my taste when just a lip is added. I did not want to discard this bumper cover, as I already had a good solution to protect the intercooler. I really liked the V1 lip, so we shaved the Veilside logo from the lip, then molded it into the OE bumper cover. The main drawback to this approach is, if I hit something with that lip, it's going to do more damage now than if I had not molded it into the bumper.

If I were in ATL I would trust KBody Shop to do the job. Sung does amazing work...I shipped my bumper to him to have the grill protecting the intercooler installed. I would have done the same for the lip project but he was very busy at the time.
Sung=m3powerrr on this site...here is a link to his Z...he did all of the work on this highly modified car. Check out his bumper cover.
