Photo with new camera
Canon 20D
The colors look different online, then on my screen. Damn color profiles. I still think it looks ok. Comments?

looks good.. but you should be able to pull off way better pictures than that with a 20D

I've only had it for 2 days. The kit lense is terrible...

for better shots with the kit lense try shooting at smaller aperatures like between f/8 and f/11. and have fun playing with the camera!

oh really? I was shooting at a bigger aperature in hopes of creating a little more dof.

Exactly what I was going to say. Try using a tripod as well. It really does help that much more.

more dof = higher fstop number. shallow dof = low fstop.
with the kit lens, you get sharper pictures with it stopped down because it's not too good wide open.
