It's no 350Z but for those of you that are familiar with RX-7's here's 1 mod i just finished installing.('99 spec taillights) Without further adieu here's the pics;

looks good... you shouldve just painted them from the inside and saved some money ..thats wat i did when i had my fd.. no one was able to tell the difference

 

I wired my taillights like that on my 88 rx-7 and got pulled over for having amber lights in the rear. That was like seven years ago when I was stationed in Cali.

 

why the hell are you posting rx7 stuff in a Z comunity?

 

Before i bought my FD i was in the market for a 350Z and had one on order with a local dealership. When i found my car, i cancelled the order for the Z and decided to stay on the forums to learn about the cars a bit more, before buying one in the future.

Why the hell do people post random **** about non-Z stuff in a Z community? That's what the lounge section of forums are for, and this picture share forum. The operator's of the site realize that ppl might have other things to share with enthusiants/owners who have 350Z's, otherwise the site would be really boring. Take a chill pill dude.

i miss it a lot too, but man, that car spent more time at the mechanics than in my garage

 

i wonder how many others had FD's? Ive had 2 FD's and 1 FC in the past. RX7s are my FAVORITE all time cars, im planning on another one this year hopefully.

 

I appreciate the comments guys, yes...they get expensive on the service side, but when the car runs....WOW!

I love your RX-7 and I look for your posts in this section. BTW, where in VA are you? I'm in Springfield.

 

I get flamed on RX7 club for posting too many pics of my car, but most of the cool guys on here don't seem to mind!

I've got over 771 pics of my car in less then a year of ownership. I could post 1 pic a day for over 2 years if you'd like!!!

 

Not much...pulley kit, intake, exhaust, midpipe and a downpipe. Most of those mods are gone. Pulley kit b/c i had to pass emissions, as well as midpipe and downpipe. Got a ticket for the exhaust and my parents kissed that goodbye (actually glad, cause it was SOOOOOO loud). Still have the intake though.

By the end of the summer i should have more than 300 rwhp though, and those mods won't be back on the car.

 

First off....i really appreciate the comments about my car. It's nice to see that some people still have respect for these cars and the owners even if they post on another forum. (And i'm not just talking about you either).

I'm in Herndon but work in Sterling. Springfield isn't that far away...perhaps a photoshoot someday? The FD is going in the shop for a while to get fixed (damn turbo is leaking oil ) but i'll keep your name in mind.

 

the www.rx7club.com guys can be major *** holes sometimes.... have you tried posting on www.nopistons.com? pretty cool crowd over there.

 

STFU...dont you know how to appreciate cars in general? FD's are awesome tuned. They were leaps before their time in the early 90's.

I wanted an RX-7 (FD) back in 96. I was a freshman in college, and not able to attain it back then. If the FD was out today, it would of been a hard choice for me to choose the Z or the 7.
