Default Trip through Black Mesa in a black Z

On our way to photograph a wedding in Colorado last weekend my wife and I took a trip through Black Mesa state park in Oklahoma. After retruning from our walk I saw my car and had to photograph it.

I have the bottom version already hanging on my wall in a 10x20 canvas print. It looks sweet on the wall.

Thanks Paul. I wish I'd had time to actually set up the shot a little better, but I did not have all the needed equipment to do it true justice for such a large subject and background. So, ,,, I was happy to get this out of the scene.

Thanks. I have to admit that I apparently saved them at too low of a quality, as they don't look quite right on the web. Oh well, the idea is there.

Yeah, the sky is WAY bright. But, as I said, it was a "hey,,, looky there" type shot instead of taking the time to set it up at the right time of day and with all the proper equipment. But,,, I did take the time to shoot a few frames in RAW and metered for the sky and then for the car. Just haven't taken the time to merge the two together to get a proper exposure all over.

3 more weddings to edit then I can play.
