I love the looks of the RX-8...but like others have said, it's not worth your money. Keep the Z, or get the EVO...just depends on your needs.

haha an evo reffered to as a DSM.. that was good joke.

Being happy is important and change is always a good way to go when u don't wanna sit on the same ol' rock. This is a 350 forum so of course the fanboiis will fly out with the blind ignorant statements. 350s are hot, x8s are hot.. FDs are hot too. Change it up... get that RX8 do it up to your hearts content. A hot car is in the eye of the beholder.

RX-8s naturally burn about a quart of oil between oil changes. They have no torque below 7k rpms, and trust me, the interior is definitely not nicer than the Z. I was a dedicate Mazda fan (they were the only cars I have ever owned. I have bought 6 of them), but their "flagship" cars (RX-8 then the Miata) have such low build quality. It has gotten so bad, that I doubt I will buy another one.

My coworker was a former C5 (modded) owner, and bought an RX-8 after getting married. Then he got divorced and grew tired of the lack of torque of the RX-8 despite the nice redline. He was close to getting an 06 Z, but found a better deal on a used C5 Z06.

An H22 with no torque, you couldve atleast said a B16 CRX or Civic to make it more believable.

Not sure where some people are getting their info. but a DSM EVO? What?
A modded EVO is only trying to be a STI? Are you dumb? STI's are nice cars, but everyone knows that an EVO mod for mod will destroy it. The STI turbo is just not as effiecient as the new IX turbo or the older VIII models for that matter.

My friend had an RX-8 for a while. It was a cool car, handle very well, and felt very light, but boy was it slow. I couldnt beat a Spec V that had 4 kids in there car one day. It suffered from heat soak rediculously. I understand though, it is a sexy car, and was very practical for a sports car, but its not for me.

I love EVO's, and if thats what you want go drive one. You'll be impressed!

We'll i compared my Prelude with the H22 to the RX-8...RX8 is 159 torque..Prelude is 156 i did something to compare it to.where the b16 is 130 torque make it a little bit closer..i could eat civics all day that wasnt a problem but just did it to compare.

Evos are very common here...there is many 300-320 whp evos here.1 of my buddys just got his back from Buschur Racing with a 2.3 stroker with big 20G and race head and cams yada yada...and that car is just ****in nuts and sounds wicked..how could you not want an evo with the pull they have..AWD owns! :-X...cant help to deny it..but just wondering how the evos are gonna hold up when they hit 70-80K ya know? maybe im just to pikcy of a consumer there all very nice high end cars..just 1's preference.
