Default my06 with s-techs--new pics! (9/20/06)

after seeing how many Z driver's love their s-techs, i decided to grab a set for my car. here are a few pics of the "drop." it is hard to tell it is on different springs for non Z drivers, but i like tha stance so much more, and it handles great! next on the list is a set of hotchkis front & rear sway bars. it already handles amazingly, i can't wait to feel the new sways! anyway, on to the pics:
stock photo for reference:

on the teins:

btw, for anyone interested in doing springs on a 350Z, the rears were extremely easy, but the fronts took some time. once you get one side done, the other takes half the time the first took.
thanks for looking!
joe

okay, here are a few more pics after a fresh wash and wax and the new sway bars are on also:

here is the rear sway, the front is pretty covered up. install went real easy:

thanks for looking,
joe

they have settled a bit more, the pics were taken after it was done. two days later, and it looks perfect. i think i'm feeling the same about the tein sticker, i never had stickers on any of my cars, so i figured i'd try this. we'll see how long it stays on. lol

Would like to see an 06' with a drop and spacers to push those stockers out ... I think it would look much better with spacers.

Noice! So did you get shocks as well? How is the alignment and the camber? Did you use a spring compressor for the install? What is the final drop?

As for the other comment regarding them looking a little too high, springs settle so give it another month for them to truly look drop since the is my experience with lower springs in general.

looks good man. I wouldnt worry about the spacers if you plan on getting aftermarket wheels in the near future. Would just be a waste of money.

only thing i hate about the tein springs. they need to be another inch lower and it'd be great but good drop none the less

great choice in springs. I rock them also....In about a month the car will fully settle. It'll be substantually noticable, for the better.
BTW, -2 on the sticker. Get rid of it. Only do stickers if they are from your sponsor or if you're part of an import team and need the sticker for recognition at car shows...ect...

boy, i guess not. it's all good, to each his own. the sticker won't be on too much longer, but for now i have no problem with it.

no i didn't get the shocks, but the alignment is still perfect, it's showing alittle negative camber, but i like it like that.

i'll post some up in a couple days. i already ordered a set of hotchkis sway bars, and they will go on monday/tuesday.

is there any reason why the s-techs lower more in the front then the rear? i hate the foward lean that this produces.

Looking good. You planning on getting any shocks soon or is the drop subtle enough to not have to worry about shocks anytime soon?

the drop is minimal, and from what i have read, the s-techs wrok fine with the stock shocks. if i find a good deal on a set, i'll surely pick them up.
