Hanging out at the Dent Sport Garage
Well I managed to shear off the bottom of one titanium(!) strut recently .. Dent Sport Garage is the local place where I get most of the work done on my car these days. I was sitting around bored waiting for my friend to pick me up.. So since I brought my camera, I decided to snap some pics of Dent Sport's track cars and customer cars on the shop.

Thanks guys!
The lift is coming.. and they are buying a dyno too (either mustang or dyno dynamics).. they were still moving in when I came in on Sat
I don't know what caused the coilover to break like that.. As you recall the strut did have some slight cracks in the housing when i bought it new.. but Adam@Z1 said it was of no consequence.. so who really knows what caused it to just snap like that down lower at the fork...I'm a little nervous about the other one too.. as that had cracks in the housing as well when i got it new..
DSG said they will try and get me a new one under warranty from Cusco (they are authorized resellers) .. but I think I would rather they weld a stronger reinforcement on it to fix it.. My fender got slightly damaged too due to the wheel collapsing into the wheel well (bent out and wrinkled)
I gotta tell ya, that Cusco Zero-2 suspension has been nothing but trouble for me. First the bad mounts in the rear which went bad after only 2 weeks and cost me a lot of money to diagnose and eventually fix (part under warranty from Cusco) to the total collapse of one strut..
dunno.. maybe titanium is more brittle than steel?? but I would never buy Cusco again. horrible..
