A new look for the front end... (Altima SE-R)
Let me see ya grillz, ya, ya, ya grillz!!
Heh.. Yeah, CarriageWorks offers a billet grille for the Altima SE-R, which I was really interested in because they make both an upper and lower grille.. Thats one thing that bugged me about the stock setup, is that top and bottom didn't match. Otherwise it didn't bother me too much.. But I like this the best... And not too bad at $260. Came with clear, color pics in the instructions, and was very easy to install... Definitely a thumbs up on this product!
Your thoughts??

Definitely looks better with the new grill.
I see where they are getting at with your wheels about the color though. I think you need to get new ones with a better offset so your stance will look more aggressive. Gunmetal or Diamond Black w/ polished lip would look badass...

Thanks guys... Black rims with a polised lip have been on the shopping list for a while now, but I'm not made of money like some of you... :P
My 15 year old brother did a PS of the rim I want, and I like it so far... Here's the rim of choice.. Its the KMC Dime, black with a polished lip, 20x8.5...

I asked for a PS of it a while back in the PS forum, but didn't get much response... I think it'll look perfect with the car now though...

those rims are a little too 'baller' for me. The grill looks nice but now its missing something.. it needs more black :-D
Tint out the ambers and paint the bezel of the head light black. When you get your wheels, it'll further set it off.
See what just a grill can start...?

Thanks again for the replies guys!!
plumpzz- Yeah, the rims are quite "baller" but to be honest, this is more of a big body sedan than a sports car... If I had a Z, I'd definitely NOT put those rims on, but I think they'll fit this car quite well.. And speaking of baller, the rims above are only $240 each... The original rims I wanted were $925 a piece... MHT Luxury Alloys... The LLC in Black... http://www.mhtwheels.com/images/categories/llcblack.jpg
As for the headlights, what bezel are you referring to? The headlights are all a sealed unit, and the amber parking light lens is inside, so unless I could take them apart and clear it, it'll stay amber... If they offered a clear lens headlight assembly, I'd do that too, but its tough because the SE-R lights are already different.. The inside of the standard Altima light housings (head and tail) are chrome... On an SE-R, they're black... So the front will most likely stay stock from here... And yes, I definitely know what one mod can start... I've been through this with previous cars.. Its how I spent $19,000 on a car that was worth $2400... Crazy...
solidsnake- Yeah I know.. The stock SE-R wheels are roughly $700 each from Nissan, so I don't want to paint them and possibly lower their resale value... I'll keep them stock until I can afford the rims I posted above...
titanjc- Yeah, to me it made the bumper holes look bigger, giving it a more aggressive look... As for the ride height.. I actually just lowered the front.. If you look at any Altima (regardless of trim level) they all sit about 1.5" higher in the front.. Looks funny, so I bought a set of Eibach Pro-kit springs and installed just the front... Still handles pretty smooth, and leveled the car out just right... When I upgrade to the 20s, I'll probably go to the Eibach Sportlines in front, and the Pro-kit in the rear... Keeping the overall height the same, while compensating for the bigger rim/tire combo...

Thanks again guys...
As for painting the stockers, not going to happen... Personally, I think painted stock wheels looks ricey.. Its obviously a lame excuse at modding... Or at least thats what I think.... Never really been into that...
I'll save these wheels for winter wheels, or put some track tires on them if I ever feel like throwing the 4 door around some corners..... Hell, she's already seen 2 drag strips... Hahaha...
I'll do the 20s because honestly, while this car handles great and is pretty f'in quick for a 4 door, it still is a cruiser.... I don't care much about weight in wheels. I would rather have the look I want...
