too bad it is an automatic...

an almost new Z33 for $17k sounds like a good deal to me.

Possible, but unlikely.
I am still a fairly young driver, but in perspective I have driven over 80,000 miles and never been in a single accident.
Most of the close calls I have been in, involved someone almost rear ending me.

This person pretty clearly rear ended someone...which is almost certainly driver error.

Not bad if you know what you're doing, but the air bags did deploy which indicates a pretty big impact. And there is also damage pretty far back along the left side. If you've got the knowledge and the tools, it would probably be cheaper than buying a new one!
