Did you get a chance to go to North Shore? I was station in Hawaii a while back. To be honest, you need to leave Waikiki to really enjoy it. For anyone planing on going, Try to get some one in the military to take you to the Marine Air Stattion on the north of the island to see the downed Zeros. It nice to experience that also.
