I got it last week for $500. A friend of mine had it as a project car and was in real need of money. He has a truck that hes building so all of his money and time goes into that. So I made the offer and he took it. It has a newer KA24, its been swapped over to a 5spd, brand new clutch, and the car only has about 140,000 miles (don't remember exactly). Its runs perfect.

Here in the UK we get them with a 1.8 turbo engine CA18 instead of the 2.4 n/a its a bit soft though so an sr20 is the best swap.

i bought one for 500 also, sold it a few weeks later and someone offered me $1000 for it haha. Easy way to make 500 bucks. lol

 

build and turbo the ka24de. costs the same amount as a sr swap would cost you and depending on ur plans for it, it can be a very formidable competitor. IMHO the sr is overdone and way overrated in the US
