Default My Black on Black G in the Caribbean. Thanks Status

Hi everyone. Been here for a while but haven't posted any pics until now. I made a thread on G-Driver but didn't include my Status review, so I'll begin there. And for those who don't care to read through everything, here's the bottom line: Status is among the highest caliber companies that I have ever done business with. Enjoy the pics, let me know what you think. Everyone else, feel free to read on.....

(my status review-)
Businesses are ran by people. As a result, no business is perfect. Although there are mechanisms to ensure accuracy, you cannot always foresee the unforeseeable. This happens to the best of businesses.

But not all businesses are that good. Not all of them even strive for perfection. Believe it or not, some businesses that regularly conduct very large transactions do not strive for this.... to some businesses, spending more money doesn't mean that you get better service.

One thing I've found is that to other businesses, spending less money doesn't mean you get worse service. In fact, quality customer service is what some businesses are about- regardless of the amount of money on the line. This is the sort of business I want to do business with because while the value of a particular transaction may be relative in the grand scheme of things, the importance of being happy is not. On this basis, and after reviewing different options, I decided to purchase my wheels, tires, and suspension from Status Auto Design.

Without going into the details of what went wrong and how, things took a turn for the worse despite the fact that I was told they wouldn't. I was immediately concerned and read and reread threads about Status (including the " Rick from Status Motorsports screwed me" thread )

Because I live out of the country, there were added problems. I only had to begin to explain this to Alex at Status for him to understand. There was no argument. Alex was not only open to discussion and options, but came up with a better solution than I was aware of to make the situation right with me. But the story doesn't end there. The length to which he was willing to go to rectify the problem was beyond commendable or satisfactory. It was outstanding. I couldn't have asked for more.

I say that Status is of the highest caliber and not just Alex for a reason. Whenever I called, I always received quality service, even if Alex did not happen to be there. Others who I spoke with seemed to be aware of the situation. The quality of service was consistently high. Consistently superior. I see this a lot with bank coverage in finance. I also see it with corporate and private Aviation. I've seen it at Grubbs Infiniti when I purchased my car back in 04. It's something that's often costless, but always priceless. I cannot take it for granted and as a result had to write this review. I whole heartedly recommend Status to anyone and everyone in the market.

Now then. My car. Ext mods are Volk LE37T 19x9.5+22 F & 19x10.5+22 R wheels, Michelin PS2 255/35/19 F 275/35/19 R Tires, HKS Hipermax RS Coilovers, Stillen Sways w/ Polyurethane Bushings, Stoptech Stage 2 Brake Kit - Rotors/Axxis Ult Pads/SS Lines/Motul Fluid/etc, 06 Headlights w/ Philips Ultinon...I think that's it on the outside.. just some other misc parts.. bulbs, z-tube, etc

On the inside, I have an Alpine head unit driving JL 300/2 + factory amp + JL 500/1 which go to Focal 165K2P fronts, factory rears, and a JL 10W6V2 Sub. The whole thing is fed by a computer which for about a year used a 7" TS LCD. Now I'm testing a 10.4" LCD. The setup features bluetooth, wifi, dvd-rw, etc. It's tied into the factory steering wheel controls so I can easily use it when I'm driving real crazy like lol. I think that's about it for the inside, maybe also headrests and other small tweaks...

Some other misc pics:

my install:

my cousin's 06 alty se-r. very nice car. although its a lot lighter than my car, my car seems faster especially on top end... i think its because of gearing. anyway he got an exhaust for it on the same day I was doing my mods. it was interesting going through customs...

new altima (very cool car btw, i really like it):

my pc equipped Sentra lol. 2nd car in first pic.

one last pic. thanks for looking

Cars look great! I love the wheel and color combo. We just got in some JDM Kouki 350GT tail lights. If you are interested in a pair, shoot me a PM!

Status has hands down the best service for wheels and tires. I myself had a thread on them and the shocking service i got from them. Ever since I dealt with Rick @ status and David I have not gone anywhere else for wheels and tires. I'm glad everything worked out Tekk and I know how difficult it can get to have product sent out of the country.
