Default My Brick

Well, it is the first sunny day since I got my car 10 days ago (and it is supposed to snow again tonight ). Boy this has been a Winter that just will not end.

But here are some pics of my first Z. Sorry they had to be in a parking lot. It has just been so cold and nasty here, that nothing is growing yet.

But hopefully, I will be able to keep the car safe and clean and get some better scenery worked in in the future.

Thanks for the compliments.

As far as the wax goes, I am ashamed to admit it is just carnuba. I posted a question about whether a new car is waxed at delivery from the dealer. It is absolutlely NOT! At least not from my dealer.I learned this today after its first wash. You could still see all the glue lines left from the protective paper the manufacturer put on the car. So my advice to all you new owners is get some protection on the paint immediately.

So the credit really goes to the paint. All the pics in here of different color Z's are all beautiful when the cars are clean and the sun is on them. Hopefully, this coat of wax will last me until I can get some Zaino (or similar). And as Rat's Z knows, the Brickyard paint is electric. As soon as you add a little sun, it comes to life. Kind of a little incentive to keep it looking like this!

Thanks again.

I dig that overhead shot!

Damn shame you have to have that front plate, though.

Thanks.

Yea, the dealer didn't give me a choice on the plate. And I didn't realize that nissan makes you bolt it through the body until I took off the dealer advertisement plate. What a bonehead design. Oh well, I guess I don't have to worry about that kind of ticket now!
