D*mn bro...I just realized where I kind of recognized that kit from...The one in the body work/interior section...I feel bad that you had to endure your own thread introducing the kit and now this thread as well.
That's pretty sh*tty that Iberdesign is using replica Buddy Club/Veilside arches and selling it in a kit they claim as their own. Not to start sh*t, but now that I look at it, I can see where people are saying that your wheels will hit your fenders if you hit a pothole or anything.

This is what they are talking about. If you hit a big enough bump with your inner fender lip being that big your suspension will flex and your tire will hit that fiberglass. In the pic posted abouve you can see the inner fender has been cut out to help that. Also you can lower you car a lot more if you trim that inner lip and perhaps get a wheel with a more agressive offset.
i give up...and it's not the same kit..and the fenders are totally different than the buddyclub 2 or veilside version 3...what's sad is that buddyclub 2 totally ripped off veilside and are selling it as their own kit....
Ok, maybe I don't know what im talking about. But it looks to me if you were to hit a big enough bump that the tire and wheel will go up and hit that inner fender lip. Maybe your offset on your wheel will allow it. Congrats on the Mag shoot though
i might...but that has a whole hell of a lot more to do with my wheels / spacers than it does the kit.....I loved this wheel...but the offset was too high...so I ordered spacers/adapters for it...
first time around I did not mold the kit and the kit stuck out a little further...now that the kit has been molded..I've lost a little width...and therefore my wheels/tires stick out a little further than they did before...

Should have gotten custom wheels and you would probably be ok. That is also why people like Alberto think a lot of widebodies are ghetto.

I still think he doesn't understand.. They are saying that your inner fender lip is to wide.. when you hit a bump, your wheel is going to hit this lip. They aren't talking about the plastic.. they are talking about the actual painted fender..
The guy still doesn't understand its not because of his wheels/suspension, its his fenders that weren't modified correctly. I tried being nice about it in the other thread, and he still doesn't get it. A proper widebody kit, wether it comes with a large inner fender lip or not, should be trimmed to allow for the widest wheel possible with the ability for adequate suspension travel. If he did it correctly, his wheels could have extended at least an addition 1" and still tuck with the right camber settings, but he will always have to roll with fender gap because of the way the kit was installed. At least some of you see what I'm talking about
you need shots of the inside of the fenderwell to see if its going to rub.
This is a pic of a properly executed widebody
the wheels can tuck into the fender and still move, yours can't, thats the problem. Its not even too late to fix yours, just have the shop cut and sand the lip down, and cut the inner fender for suspension travell, and it'll be much better. Post a pic of the inner fender area without the wheel on, and I can show your exactly where to have the shop cut to get your kit to work much better

lol, this thread is so funny. At first i was like why is everyone hating but now after repeatedly being told he doesn't get the whole concept. He probably thinks that your talking about the inner fender not the lip, haha I dont know but its funny
