So there is now confirmation that you did the rear widebody wrong, unlike what you were insisting in the other thread. Post pics when you bottom out that rear and crack your fenderwells please

You can see in his third pic that the inside fenderlip extends at least 2-3 inches into the fenderwell. When a few of us pointed out that this should be trimmed back to the edge, and the quarterpanel cut to allow for suspension travel. He insisted it was just paper, and we didn't know what we were talking about. Basically with his setup, he won't be able to drive around at all because any pothole will cause the wheel to slam into that fenderlip and crack it. Its like he did a reverse fender roll because he's essentialy extended the lip beyond the factory 1/2". See this thread for details, but basically we told him before it was painted it needed to be fixed, but he kept insisting it was paper. Look at the other widebody kits available and you will see his was done incorrectly

What magazine is it for? That is one of the ugliest models I've seen in a while. Definately Sub-Par. Why don't you ever post a pic of the front of the car? What kit is it?

redlude97, just for you, I'm going to take off my rear wheel and show you...I mount up my plastic inner fender!!!! I drove the car from st augustine to jax with no problem....my suspension is what's off...not my bodywork...if you have questions about it, please call mark at matchbox customs...he'll tell you all you need to know...until you get more proof than a photo you swear you can tell by...STFU

i hate to go way off topic...but here...hopefully this settles the debate...you can clearly see where the fender stops...the widebody arches are no more than an 1.5 inches wide if that...the pic you thought was fiberglass was paper so my inner fender did not get painted....please for the love of baby jesus let this go

See this pic for what a well executed wide body should look like pay attention to the small lip on the fender as opposed to your huge fenderlip. A widebody kit should be able to tuck its wheels upon compression, yours clearly can't. I don't see how you can't see the flaw in your design.

I really really really hate to burst your bubble...but we took the buddyclub2/aka veilside version 3 replica overfenders and just modified the design...we did nothing else to them....

since this thread is ruined anyway...here:

same wide arches...different front bumper....do you see now?????
blame my wheels, my offset, my spacers...anything...but dont blame a flawed design when one does not exist.
