Yes, that vid was awesome, fear inducing almost for the health of the driver... but comparing it to an F1 car was just pretty unfair. Pretty sure acceleration is much, much quicker on an F1 car, plus the regulations of the cars mandate alot of things.
Top Speed should have compared it to the 2nd fastest production car, and how it blows the doors off that.

The guy said in the video: Schumacher doesn't go this fast.
Yeah... saying it's faster than the McLaren is like a "no **** Sherlock"
Really, he's comparing the top speed to an F1 race car...not the McLaren, which surprised me. Looks like 220-230 for F1 race cars, 240 for the McLaren, and 250 for the Veryon.
But again, F1 cars are mandated 8cylinder, Normally aspirated cars. NO TURBO or FI!!!!! Also, acceleration to top speed is acheived way, way faster. I don't know exactly how much it is for testing, development, and construction, but it is big, big $$$ (most expensive motorsport in the world).
It was just the way it came off... like the Veryon can actually compete with an F1 car.
Don't get me wrong, the Veryon is mighty impressive, fear inducing in fact when you watch the video. But c'mon,... if Alonzo was on the track, the Veryon would have been eaten alive.
